The Community Foundation of Northeast Alabama (CFNEA) is seeking its next President and CEO. The board of trustees seeks an energetic, inspiring, and creative leader with leadership experience and financial and management skills to advance its ambitious regional philanthropic outreach. The Community Foundation hosts $90 million in assets and manages 280 charitable funds.
The Community Foundation has served as Northeast Alabama's Philanthropic Partner since 1999. Its region comprises nine counties with 500,000 residents and covers 5,705 square miles. Please browse our site and learn more about our work.
The Community Foundation receives $2 to $3 million in gifts from thousands of donors yearly and distributes $2 million annually in grants, scholarships, and charitable expenses.
Nestled in the heart of Calhoun County, our offices are in a six-acre mid-century modern Presbyterian church gifted to CFNEA in 2023. The building has been renovated to serve as CFNEA's offices and offers beautiful community spaces.
