CFNEA is honored to welcome The Woman’s Club of Gadsden as a new fundholder!

For over a century—dating back to their very first meeting on September 19, 1923—the Woman’s Club of Gadsden has been a pillar of strength, culture, and service in our community. Built on a foundation of literary, scientific, and philanthropic excellence, the institution continues its enduring mission to preserve its rich legacy and historic colonial home at 862 Chestnut Street while enriching the quality of life across Gadsden through civic, educational, and social initiatives.

Led by Club President Valerie Pugliese, the organization has long served as a vibrant gathering space for the community—hosting everything from local fundraisers and educational scholarships to milestone celebrations, showers, and weddings in their historic space. Supported by a dedicated network of members who carry forward a proud tradition of sponsorship and fellowship, the Club remains deeply committed to honoring the past, celebrating the present, and enhancing the future.

Establishing a fund ensures that this extraordinary legacy of community action, leadership, and fellowship will continue to thrive for generations to come. Thank you, Woman’s Club of Gadsden, for your commitment to our shared future and for partnering with CFNEA to make a lasting impact!
